"What an incredible experience I had, dealing with Jeff. What a great guy. He greeted me with a genuine smile as I walked in the door, he had a warm, friendly... attitude, and talked to me like a person, not a potential sale. I explained what I was looking for - style, feel / comfort, size, colors - etc, and he walked me over to a few different sets that he had that met my criteria. He had a great selection of furniture in the store and after having checked out a few different sets, and I asked him what the differences were between manufacturers and styles. Jeff went on to describe in the right amount of detail what made one set of furniture differ from another, which differences were more noticeable or important than others, the best qualities of each manufacturer's product, and the different ordering options that were available. Let me tell you - the man *knows* his business! He answered every question I had, he never once pressured me in any way; I was very relaxed both browsing and asking questions (and I was in there for a good long while). He was always available for questions but had a great feel for when I just wanted to check out different pieces and mosey through the store with my friends. And most importantly, the quality of the furniture he sells is infinitely better than any place I've ever set foot in. Furthermore, the guys who delivered the furniture were efficient, ON TIME, professional, and they were very mindful of both my new furniture and the walls and doors as they moved my new belongings into place, which was tricky at times. I just can't say enough good things about these folks. I cannot see me going any place else to buy furniture. Ever."

"I saw their truck in the neighborhood and stopped to say hello. Keith asked me how my furniture was and I said great and then remembered that my rocker... recliner had been making a noise. I must tell you, this set of chairs I bought 8 years ago! He and Jeremy stopped by and of course my chair wouldn't squeak. He did educate me as to why it had made that noise so I'm cool with that. Next he asked about my newer chairs I had purchase last year for my den. He checked those out and all is well! I have also purchased a beautiful couch from them years ago. I don't believe I have ever received customer service like the service that this company/store provides. They are willing to always go the extra mile and if there is an issue, they immediately respond to you. I have referred at least 10 people to them in the last 8 years and I have never heard anyone say they weren't thrilled with the product and the service."

"Daily for five years we have used and enjoyed our furniture from Leather by Design in St Augustine, Fl. Two days ago the recliner would recline but not return ... fully to it’s correct position. We called the store and were assured that Steve would be out to check it out at his earliest opportunity. True to his word, he called the next morning and was here before noon! There was a short in the wiring. It was soon repaired and to our surprise after having the recliner for five years the charge was minimal. We appreciated Steve’s honesty, his following through on his word and clearly their service department matches the high standards of their furniture!!!"

"Highly recommend! We worked with Steve to furnish our condo living room several years ago, and a few years later we returned and now our new house living room ... is also furnished by LBD. Each time we bought a couch and recliners and are very happy with everything we have purchased. Referred my friend and she has a LBD couch too, that she loves. Top quality product and service. Get this: while moving into our new house, the movers couldn't get my old couch (that I bought several years ago from him) through the door - I called Steve to ask if/how the legs come off the couch. "I am a retired, disabled Attorney. When we go shopping for high dollar items, quite often the salesperson just sees a fat, bald, non-speaking man in a power ... wheelchair accompanied by some woman who may be his Nurse (which is quite true as Joanne [my Wife] is a retired operating room RN), and treats us as some people tend to treat the handicapped – as less than. Jessica did not. We were shopping for a Sressless recliner for Joanne. Jessica allowed Joanne to sit in as many chairs as she wanted, offered some very helpful suggestions, and was very honest about the delay for a custom chair. Steve Lent showed me his dedication and very professional way of keeping his business one of a kind. Be confident that if you purchase from this store you will be respected and treated the same whether it be a chair or entire living room. I didn't know he offers leather for every budget so don't shy away. You can choose all top grain or partial leather and synthetics.
